The Min Pin
( as it is affectionately called ) originated in Germany
and has been documented since the early 1800's more
formally so since 1885 with the formation of the German
Pinscher Club.
Evidence of the breed dates back to the 15th Century
Formerly called the Reh Pinscher, witch refers to the
"Small Red Deer' found in the German forest.
Originally bred as stable dogs to eradicate rats and
mice, while hunters by nature still today, they still
have a strong affinity with horses.

life of 13 to 16 years, remaining active with very few
health problems most of the time.

range 25 cm high about 2,5 kg. 30 cm high about 4 kg.
